GatorPAS helped us solve persistent issues in our processes that used to consume considerable manpower, and for which I could never get a satisfactory resolution for in over 20 years of working in the Valve industry. Some of the specific pain points I wanted addressed was management of techno-commercial requirements detailing valve specifications, raw materials for components, testing & certification requirements. A second was manpower heavy task of preparing Material Test Certificates at the point of assembly completion, which required meticulous documentation, capture & retention of material heat numbers at any point in the manufacturing & assembly process.
GatorPAS' helped streamline these processes, reduce duplication & optimize creation & reuse of datasheets - which helped in reducing the lead times for proposal submission by more than half. Also, once the heat numbers are captured at the point of material receipt, complete traceability is available until final assembly is completed and MTCs are generated easily. This made our delivery process quicker, & more accurate.
